Poster Session 

The North Carolina Psychiatric Association (NCPA), the Psychiatric Foundation of North Carolina, and the North Carolina Council of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (NCCCAP) will co-host this year's Resident & Medical Student Poster Session on Saturday, September 26 at the NCPA Annual Meeting & Scientific Session in Myrtle Beach, SC.

Submission Guidelines

Abstracts should be organized using the following sections. Each section has an 800-character limit:

  • Introduction – Background and purpose of the research
  • Methods – Description of the study
  • Results – Summary of findings and conclusions
  • Discussion – Relevance and implications of the study

 Important Dates 

  • Submission deadline: July 24, 2026
  • Notification of Acceptance: August 12, 2026
  • Poster Session: September 26, 2026 

Registration and Fees 

All poster presenters are required to register for the Annual Meeting and pay the applicable registration fee. Register here. 

Poster Requirements 

  • Poster must be pre-mounted (local print shops can mount posters on foam board)
  • Recommended Size: 36" H x 48" W
  • Easels will be provided onsite
