Staff Psychiatrist 

The University of North Carolina at Charlotte is seeking applications for a Staff Psychiatrist to work in the Health Services and Counseling departments. The Health Services and Counseling department’s purpose is to promote healthy students by providing healthcare, education and outreach services.

Minimum Qualifications: Requires an M.D. or D.O., completion of an ACG ME accredited residency in psychiatry.

Essential Job Duties: Provide acute and primary psychiatric care to the student population of the University. Perform clinical evaluations and medical assessments, prescribe medications and monitor their use in a therapeutic setting, provide consultation, collaboration, and training to the clinical staff of the Student Health Center and Counseling Center, and facilitate the processing of voluntary and involuntary hospitalizations.

Psychiatric Services for Permanent Housing & Supportive Services
RFP #22-050

Wake County is seeking proposals from a qualified behavioral health service provider or individual physician to deliver behavioral health services and interventions, including but not limited to psychiatric evaluations, prescriptions and medication management for clients enrolled in our Permanent Housing & Supportive Services programs.

Services will be provided at more than one Wake County facility located in Raleigh, NC as needed and scheduled.  An average of 15 hours per week of service is expected; with an expectation of servicing approximately 60+ clients.

Proposals will be received by Wake County Procurement Services, in Suite 2900, Wake County Justice Center, 301 McDowell Street, Raleigh, NC 27601, up to 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 17, 2022.

Daymark Recovery Services Seeking Psychiatrists for Outpatient and Assertive Community Treatment Team 

Daymark is a large nonprofit provider of behavioral health services with more than 30 clinical centers in NC.

ACTT work available in Winston-Salem. Outpatient work available in various centers done on site or via telepsychiatry.  Psychiatrists work on teams with therapists and nursing staff.  Duties include psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and teaching/collaboration with other clinicians.  Supervision of NP and/or PA encouraged.  Both contract and salaried positions available.
