NCPA's leadership is elected by the membership each year. Terms generally run from May to April, annually and begin on the last day of the APA's Annual Meeting, when the national leadership is sworn in.

The NC Psychiatric Association is comprised of many committees, both constitutional and standing committees. The work accomplished by our members in committees provides direction to Executive Council and staff on policy and advocacy efforts.
